No one can fail to be enchanted by Pezenas with all its beautiful and ornate facades, doorways, balconies and striking archways. It is a town steeped in history and the Michelin brochure 'Les plus beaux detours de France' refers to Pezenas as a not to miss town.

Pezenas has now fewer than 70 listed historical buildings and is officially recognised as ville de metiers d'art. You will see an array of art work and tradition in theatre (Pezenas was indeed the home of moliere) mixed with a wealth of history. (Pezenas has remained remarkably undisturbed for the last 150 years).

For those keen antique buyers you will find no fewer than 35 brocantes in the town and a lively tradition of markets. We should of course not forget the countless Superb restaurants, wine bars and tea rooms which will allow you to sit back, relax and enjoy Southern french life at it's best!
Pezenas is between Montpellier (with its galleries and cosmopolitan lifestyle) and Beziers (renowned for it's Feria in August and flower markets)

East are the endless beaches of the Mediterranean from Sete to Marseillan Plage to Cap d'Agde (20 mins). To the north west and within easy reach are the hills of St.Chinean, Faugeres and Minervois, all regions known for their excellent wine.
